A brief History of Peugeot Two Wheelers
French vehicle manufacturer Peugeot has been making bikes for well over 100 years, building their very first 198cc motorbike in 1901.
Fast forward to 1934, and Peugeot Motorcycles had launched a 175cc, 250cc, and 500cc motorbike as well as a 100cc moped.
Since then, Peugeot has had many successful bikes in production such as the S55 scooter, and P103 moped and, in 1982 when scooters were again back in fashion, the SC and SX (the first with plastic bodywork) series were released.
In the modern day, Peugeot has become one of the most popular European scooter manufacturers in the market with a wide range of bikes available such as the e-Streetzone, XP400, Django, and of course, the three-wheeled Metropolis.
