The brief History of Aprilia
Shortly after World War II ended, Aprilia was set up as a bicycle production factory in Noale, Italy, founded by Alberto Beggio.
However, in 1968 Alberto’s son, Ivano Beggio took over the company building Aprilia's first motorcycle, a blue and gold 50cc. Although, it wasn’t till 1970 that the product began to gain popularity thanks to the creation of the Scarabeo motocross bike.
Aprilia today is well known for its prominent presence in MOTO GP, producing fast sports bikes and a wide range of scooters and small-capacity motorcycles for every type of rider.
